SPX LIGHTING

Quality, technological innovation and sustainability are the three pillars on which the SPX team was built. New impulse

From its creation to today, here are the highlights of the company SPX Lighting.

2016
Acquisition of the Sylumis museographic and architectural lighting activity by SPX (Sylumis by Projects X).

2014
Development of the Commercial / Industrial LED range from SEAE. Establishment of a project group Piloted Lighting Systems.

2013
Acquisition of SEAE (Toulouse) in October.

2012
Extension of the museographic lighting range and acquisition of Lumière + Nature (ex. Panavision).

2011
Sale of the automotive lighting business, concentration of developments on LED-based lighting systems for the development of public and private assets, the interior of transport, commercial and industrial buildings. Acquisition of LEDTOLITE.

2008
Cemm Thomé becomes SYLUMIS.

2007
The architectural lighting and transport teams are located in Lieusaint (77). Acquisition of Synergie Plastics in Oyonnax: unit for the development and injection of plastic parts.

2004
Launch of the Mexican subsidiary. Integration of a company specializing in LED-based light applications. Launch of the first products of architectural lighting and color animation.

1998-2000
Strategy for the internationalization of Cemm Thomé products. Obtaining ISO9001 and QS9000 certifications.

1994-1996
Strong orientation towards the development of clean products for the automotive lighting and signaling markets. Filing of the first Cemm Thomé patents.
